Updates

On this page you will find all the update notifications I posted on the front page. Please select the year from which you want to read the news:

30th December 2004

Just a very tiny update today in my office, since I recently installed the multi-protocoll instant messenger Miranda, I signed up for two more protocols, namely AIM and MSN. On my contact page I added the AIM screenname and my old ICQ number.

I also recommend to visit the K7 forum, I have uploaded a new style again.

29th December 2004

Just as the last year is nearing its end, I finally took the time to update the caption contests. A total of three new pictures were added and one missing line, though they cannot be called line anymore, some are whole sketches now. Check them out!

24th December 2004

There was another month without an update to this page, but the reason for that is simple: my computer had a total crash, I needed to replace the harddrive and have lost quite a lot of files due to this. However I hope to find the time to have this page up to date until the end of the year 2004.

Meanwhile I whish you all a merry Christmas and happy holidays!

23th November 2004

Great news for everyone who is waiting for news on The Argas Effect, Act I:

Spacestation K7 is proud to present a preview trailer for the forthcoming release of the first Act of "The Argas Effect" for Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.

"The Argas Effect" is a total conversion for SP EF.

Download the trailer now

Visit for more information or for more exciting mods and conversations visit Spacestation K7.

Other than that there is no real other update, because I'm happy that I could post this one. My homecomputer (WinXP) has the habit to run some three minutes at maximum and shut down then, please contact me if you also had this problem and have a solution.

15th November 2004

On SpaceStation K7 I added a new link to the front page: Trekkieguy.com who added us in return to his site. The link can also be found in my own link section. Furthermore I updated the schedule a bit, because the Algebra professor finally felt the need to establish a second tutorial, because so many students could visit the first one (including me).

14th November 2004

There are two records on my homepage, first I have more than 1000 visitors since 14 July 2004! The other one is a bit negative, because almost one month has passed since the last update. Within this time some Caption Contests ended, but are only included now. Then I finally found the time to create a page with my university schedule have fun reading it. And don't forget: it is chat-time again.

17th October 2004

Ok, originally I just wanted to add the last image of the caption contest, but somehow I reverted my entire page. I made too many updates to mention, and link, them all on this page. Please have a look at the About-page, it now contains a small note about my administratorship, a small essay about my life at university and some new art. Have fun!

10th October 2004

As of my writing I have to think about renaming Andorian's Office, because since the official announcement by Lucas my office door bears the new label Station Manager. I knew this long time before, but am still sad to see him go. This of course will mean even less updates to my office, because I'm in the process of giving K7 a new look.

I also want to make you aware, that James Dixon has released the 17th edition of his Fandom Chronology, most likely the largest collection of timeline information, ranging from the recent episodes over novels to reference books of the 1960s. It is available on my old project homepage "Star Trek timelines". I also made some minor changes to my links.

29th September 2004

Today I made my 1000th post in the K7 Forums. To my very surprise I also detected an old memberlist from 29 September last year and was able to write some statistics, have a look at them in the topic called "997, 998, 999, ... 1000". I also want to promote the K7 Chat once more, the intention is to meet every sunday evening 19:00 GMT in the euirc.net channel #k7.

24th September 2004

"Amok Time" created by Chaos in association with SpaceStation K7 has been released to the EF community! Relive the classic battle on Vulcan between Captain Kirk and his First Officer Spock. This map also comes with Kirk and Spock bots that are exclusive to this map. Head over to SpaceStation K7 and download the map and experience how hot Vulcan can really be!

Also new is the winning line from K7's 45th Caption Contest, we are now waiting for another picture by winner Ambassador Petri.

17th September 2004

I know that updates are thin right now, but I was working over at Memory Alpha, a Star Trek WikiWiki. (Hier möchte ich sagen, dass die Deutsche Version gerade an Archivistenmangel leidet, also kommt alle rüber!) Furthermore the lates Caption Contest image was updated, Psi'a Meese has still not decided about a winner. Last but not least the Map Rotation is now up to date, even though we play the new map cycle for a week now.

13th September 2004

Today when I looked up my counter statistics I noticed two things a) most Google hits have either Andorian or Andorians as keywords, it seems to me I have to implement more content about the Andorians on my page. b) Thanks to the unknown visitor who was searching for "Starhip Exeter", well unfortunately I have to give up my pole position for that result (I'm even in front of Amazon!!). I also fixed some link errors on the Loknar page and implemented the winning line on the caption contest homepage.

6th September 2004

Quite a lot updates coming, a direct result of the fact that I didn't upload small updates in the past week... First: Somewhen in the last week -- I originally wanted to write an announcement -- the counter went past 500 visitors, I may add that only those are counted who visited the mainpage, so everyone else was not counted. Second: I have updated the current map rotation on the server page and added a bit troubleshooting to it, also explained what TAC and WPY stand for. Third: Psi'a Meese won the 44th caption contest, as expected by many members, just waiting for the next one now. Fourth: Lord Dave -- and I may say I never stated otherwise ;) -- finally finished the Line by Line Story.

31th August 2004

The online game gathers more and more interested people. Since I'm hosting the games I have now created an own page. As everyday tonight from 2100 CEST to ca. 2300 CEST we meet to play Elite Force, everyone is welcome, though it is recommended to post in the forum first. Current map rotation can be read in the info box. Happy fragging!

30th August 2004

A major update of some sort: to supply the gamers of K7 with a Teamspeak service I set up a TS server at home. I also installed a program that you can read the status of the server from the internet: Webpost. If you have Elite Force and would like to join a game you should look up the special topic at K7.

27th August 2004

After a couple of weeks the Line by Line Story was continued and is now updated. You can read and even influence Kirk's efforts to drive the Borathians out of Federation space in the writing thread at K7! Major Tork winner of last Caption Contest has posted a new picture, you are invited to give it a caption.

26th August 2004

Another update, one might not believe it: I have started modelling for Elite Force. My first model is a Loknar-class starhip, a design originally created by FASA. See my report of the project and the work in progress. I have also announced the winner of the 43rd Caption Contest.

14th August 2004

I discoverd that I have most of the dialogue of the story "Refraction" already translated. So you can read on a bit, likely there will come more.

13th August 2004

Well today my internet connection did work again and so I had not much time to focus on converting the pages. (The downtime is also the reason why yesterday's update have today's timestamp). However the line by line story written in the K7 Forums is includes now the lates entry.

12th August 2004

I decided to move my former Star Trek page to this place giving it a futuristic look. So I have started to convert the pages to the K7 layout; first up is the my original story "Refraction" a sequel to "Mirror, Mirror" a longer German version is also available. You will find more stories in the Library section.

4th August 2004

There were a couple of days without an update, and even now I can only offer a small one. The reason is that I have to learn for my coming exam in Linear Algebra which leaves me just a bit time. Now the promised update: the Line by Line story is now up to date. Important: we still need writers to contribute to the story! I also added a few links to the link collection.

27th July 2004

I added a couple of more links to the directory, as of now it contains my favourite ones. If you want to have your link added, please contact me, but please note that I reserve the right to decide what I add and when!

26th July 2004

Christomad has announced the winner of the 42nd Caption Contest. I also uploaded some larger pictures for contests 1, 2, 3 and 11.

24th July 2004

You might notice that there were a couple of important changes regarding the layout of the page. Since the navigation bar in the upper table was crowded I had to split it into two sections now named Office and Storage. The first section is about interernal topics, the second primary about older articles from the Forums (like the caption contest gallery).

23rd July 2004

Two updates for today: One can now send me an email very easily by using the contact form. I'm looking forward to any feedback. I recovered something else from the K7 Memory Banks: Long time user might remember the shortliving Line by Line Story, have fun to read what could be the teaser of a lost episode.

22nd July 2004

Somewhen tonight the 100th visitor since I installed the counter viewd this site! That makes an average 12 and a half visitors per day! I expanded a couple of section, if you click about you can read a lot more about me now. Also new in downloads is the Starship Exeter wallpaper I made. You will also not that I now have a cute little favicon in the address bar of your browser (if it supports that feature).

21st July 2004

Lt. In'taphA great day: I'm proud owner of a Toonloon-Bot™ thanks to the "Be a crewmen in Act I" competition. Again thanks to Scott!

18th July 2004

After a short night because of the celebrations for semester's end and a long try to install a new mouse on my father's computer, I can only offer some new links in the Link-Section.

17th July 2004

Christomad the winner of the last "Caption Contest Gallery" and has posted a new picture, give it a line in the K7 Forums.

15th July 2004

Since most of the images are back by now, I could implement plan B, you can now click on a picture in the "Caption Contest Gallery" and see an enlarged version.

14th July 2004

Yesterday -=SFM=- Kirk posted a fantastic link to a Backward Search Machine, with that I was able to reconstruct all but five Caption Contest images! Another update is the counter on my page, because I'm tired to look it up in the log files.

Update:

The Link-Page finally has some content and the 41st Caption Contest has finally a caption.

12th July 2004

With help of Toonloon I was able to reconstruct a couple of Caption Contests I hope the rest will follow as soon as I find similar pictures.

11th July 2004

Just a couple of minutes ago I posted a thread in the Forums telling you about this site, therefor I finished the download section and created an overview for the "Caption Contest Gallery".

10th July 2004

Not a great update, but it is an uptdate: I tweaked the design a bit here and there and am currently working on the about section of this page.

9th July 2004

I've compiled the Caption Contests that are already over. Unfortunately a lot of pictures are gone from the early contests, but the newer ones are now saved, you can find them starting with Page 1. Have fun!

7th July 2004

Great news, I won the 40th Caption Contest in the K7 Forums. Now it is my task to decide which picture should receive a new caption. This is the Picture I've chosen:

Give this picture a caption in Caption Contest #41.

5th July 2004
