Updates

On this page you will find all the update notifications I posted on the front page. Please select the year from which you want to read the news:

29th December 2005

Last night the page was visited by 5000 people in total, thanks to everyone. I uploaded two more of my sector maps to the starmaps.

23rd December 2005

Almost all pages show today as the date when the page was updated. This is due to the fact that I had to touch all pages in order to replace "index.html" by "index.php". The page is in the process of being converted to php only. Other than that I had to rename the "Miscellaneous Topics" of the Wrong Star Trek section, because the only topic on that page about transwarp got expanded. Also new is a small entry about TNG Admirals.

18th December 2005

The holiday season has started and I really had a sunday off on which I didn't had to solve my excersises. I used the time and changed here a bit and there a bit in Andorian's Office. Most important is the (not visible) change in the page's php-code. I also discovered a backup of some older websites made by me, so there is finally some more content in the hangar. I also corrected some typos and links to external websites.

13th December 2005

Screencap of EAS links
Something unbelieveable has happened: Andorian's Office is now part of the link list by Bernd Schneider's Ex Astris Scientia. So I specially welcome all visitors who clicked that link, surely you want to read more about me or have a look at other stored material. In any case, enjoy the site and maybe you visit SpaceStation K7 and its forums as well.

Other than that: two more winners of K7's caption contest.

26th November 2005

Smaller updates only this time. As usual I've slipped to update th caption contest gallery. Since I did find more images made by me I could use on this page, I decided to assemble them all on one single page called photo manipulations. I have hope to present some more there soon.

5th November 2005

I started updating the older pages of with new styles I introduced lately. Also new additions to the Loknar-class page with images from the FASA books showing the ship. Furthermore I added the 72nd caption contest and expanded the starmaps section with more maps. The library contains now a new link to my Marvin the Martian photo manipulation and my March 2004 TrekArt entry.

30th October 2005

Since my schedule is now stabilised and no longer subjected to changes I updated the respective page and uploaded an overview of my fifth semester at university. Further more I once again updated the caption contest.

15th October 2005

Today I browsed through the files which were stored on my webserver and noticed a lot of image files were not linked from any places. So I added them to the Arts section in the Library. Also note that I can add another bar to your Bremen locations: the "Loft" is located close to central station, has nice waitresses, fair prices and doesn't close before midnight.

12th October 2005

Everyone who decides to visit a cocktail bar in Bremem should ignore the "Pur" in the Papenstraße. Last night we had to realise that Happy Hour from 20 to 23 means: 22 last order! Fine with me if the management decides not to sell some drinks to the group of 60 that we were! Other than that: Toonloon has elected FishDS9 as the winner of K7's 70th caption contest.

6th October 2005

Well what to say, again I had to decide what is most important and this page was not. Today I "passed" my physics exam with a mark I better don't tell. However now that the learning time is over I had the time to upload the latest caption contest to the gallery. I also celebrate the 4000th visitor to this page.

23rd September 2005

Star Trek: Enterprise has left the air. The crew of that ship are gone but are not forgotten. Now you can be Captain Archer, Sub Commander T'Pol, Commander Trip Tucker, Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, Ensign Hoshi Sato or Ensign Travis Mayweather. All 6 skins feature original series wavs and chat lines and come with team support..

Stop by SpaceStation K7 and download the NX-01 skin pak today. And while you're at K7, please support our site by clicking on the site ads so that we can continue to bring these EF skins, maps and mods to you. Thanks!

Enjoy fragging in the 22nd century!

20th July 2005

Today James Doohan died aged 85. Considering his health it was obvious that he would be the next, but neverless I was surprised of the news.

10th July 2005

Finally an update, I wonder why there are so few... I added the Caption Contests 63-65 (damn I made it easier to update, but why don't I make use of it?). Furthermore I added another topic to the Star Trek Errors, read what I think about Lieutenant Saavik who everyone else seems to call cadet even though the rank was never stated on screen.

4th June 2005

I made some revises to the library especially its subsection about Star Trek Errors which is now split in three documents. I'm also interested in hearing additional input about the United Earth issue, because I was told that the 2113 date might not come from the Encyclopdia. Please note anything you know in this thread at K7.

30th May 2005

Again two weeks since the last update, I hate to admit. However real-life is the reason for that, I really don't find the time... Now you want to hear what is new: well the latest caption contest was added to the gallery. Winner is Lilgreenman who added a line to the episode "The Omega Glory".

15th May 2005

When you read this you will have to look through a lot of pages. I used the long weekend to update my pages, most notably the caption contest gallery, which is now created by an php script. The reason I made this change was that it needed a lot of pages to update, now I just need to add the new contest data to one file. Also the Timelines did receive a small cosmetic change and I fixed the one or other broken links.

Because the mirror universe is quite the runner currently I may also use the opportunity to point you to my fanfiction Refraction (Spiegelung) and note that I had the idea with Tholians and Gorn working together already back in early 2003.

30th April 2005

Finally another update, but it is not connected with K7 (especially not with my ongoing Fanfiction). Today I finished the second part of my article "Nuclear Vessels" which I decided to use for my primary German homepage. Click on the banner to read it.

21st April 2005

Today I made several simplifications to the code of the layout, so many pages were edited without significant changes. However the math page did receive a small update reflecting the change from one semester to the other. Since my schedule is now finalised as well, I updated the page and moved the old one. Furthermore I added another topic to the Star Trek Errors, this time about Australia and United Earth.

17th April 2005

Remember my fan fiction story "A New Command"? I originally wanted to finish the creation of the crew roster, but those photomanipulations took a lot of research, and especially the Andorian commander is really hard to create. So all I can present tonight is a preview of

Star Trek: Atlantis

More to come this week!

16th April 2005

This is the first of two updates, the next will come tomorrow (at least I hope). Today I finished to clean up all pages a bit. For example I paid more attention to the unique quoting rules in English. Before I applied the German grammar to direct speech, especially on the fan fiction stories. They do now feature correct quoting, at least correct to those who follow the British English spelling rules. I may also say that the TrekArt page "The Glommer" was updated a bit, it was actually done quite a couple of days ago, but I didn't mention it here.

8th April 2005

The break between the semesters is almost over, I've changed less on this homepage than I did intend. This was mainly due to a lack of time, because I both had last minute work to do for K7's "The Argas Effect" and my Algebra exam. Fortunately for my I passed the last one bringing me another step closer to my pre-diploma. I also write to announce I entered the TrekArt Contest at TrekBBS. My entry is called "The Glommer".

30th March 2005

When I opened the homepage today I found the counter surpassed 2000 visitors! Thanks to everyone who has visited this site.

23rd March 2005

Gasp! An update! I finally migrated my Star Trek Chronology collection to Andorian's office. Those files were one of my first internet works back in 2001. Furthermore there is a winner of caption contest 58 we are now waiting for synchromesh to post for number 59.

6th March 2005

Since the 57th Caption Contest was ended at SpaceStation K7 I have updated the gallery, winning line was the one of Ian Polman, congratulations. Ian was quick and started edition 58. I've also finally translated one of my fan fiction stories "A New Command". Have a look at it.

28th February 2005

Thanks go out to TrekZone Community member Pollys linker Nippel who did send me a replacement picture for Contest 56 which was substandard quality for this archive. Thanks again! Also new is Contest 57 which was started by Christomad at SpaceStation K7.

24th February 2005

Update time! Last night Lord Dave did announce the winner of caption contest #56, it is Christomad, congratulations. I'm also working on a new article about Wrong Star Trek Canon, the first article was finished last night. That's all for now!

23rd February 2005

Sadly this is my first update announcement in the new year, and that is already one and a half months old. But I had to focus on other projects, like finishing third semester and especially learning for the finals there. The good side is: I passed all my lectures and can already reach for my pre-diploma.

Also I was busy with the forum, first I finished the last touches to the improved layout, updated to phpBB 2.0.11, updated the images again a bit more, and after all that was done, phpBB 2.0.12 was released, so I had to do most of the stuff again. However the forum now has some cool images around and does also feature the "Last visit" mod, something I wanted from the beginning.

Now to the updates in Andorian's office: To my very shock I noticed that I was a bit too lash with the Caption Contests, I missed to upload number 51 to 56, that is half of page 6!

I hope to update the page more frequently from now on I still have ideas for this page. At least for the next two months this should be possible to realise, because there are no lectures, only the deadline for the oral Algebra exam :(
